Help Us Make a House a Home
by donating items to prepare a home for new refugees.
Here at CRIC, we are committed to making Cache Valley home for incoming refugees. You can help us provide the basics a family needs to start rebuilding their lives. Join us in our efforts by gathering much-needed physical donations to assist newly arrived refugee families.
In our efforts to provide the same items to each new home we set up for refugees, CRIC is only able to accept these specific donated items.
Make an Appointment to Donate
Appointments will usually be made on Thursdays between 3-6 PM.
Please refrain from dropping off physical donations at our office without an appointment.

How do I schedule a drop off?
Simply schedule an appointment for a drop-off by filling out the form below. After that, a team member will coordinate a time and place for drop-off.
Does CRIC accept furniture donations?
We do! However, it does depend on the space of our storage. The items we currently accept include:
-Twin Bed Frame (must have slats so that no box spring is required)
- Dresser
- Hanging Closet Organizer/Shelves
- Kitchen Table
- Kitchen Chairs
- Couch
- Standing Lamp
Feel free to reach out to us regarding any questions by emailing us at housingteam@cacherefugees.org
Does CRIC accept gently used items
Yes! Refugees should begin their new life with dignity. Because of this, we encourage that all donations be in good condition. Good enough that you would give it to your own family.
Furniture should also be in good condition without any tears, rips, scratches or stains. If pets are allowed on upholstered furniture, the items should be well-vacuumed and cleaned before scheduling a donation drop off. All furniture should be structurally sound without any need for repairs.
Are there any donations CRIC can't accept?
Due to limited space, volunteer bandwidth and contract requirements, we are unable to accept the following:
1. Items not on the accepted donations list
2. Items in poor condition
3. Items with political, religious, holiday or controversial content
Do you accept clothing donations?
We do not accept clothing donations. However, we have fantastic partnerships with the Logan DI and Somebody's Attic which allows our clients to select clothing that will best suit their size and preference.
While we do not accept general clothing donations, we do accept the following winter clothing:
Heavy Coat
Snow Pants
Layering Jacket
Gloves
Hats
Scarves
What is most needed right now?
Our needs are always changing depending on the current donation inventory. You can check out our updated "Most Needed Items" Walmart registry.
Can I just drop off a load at your office location?
Please do not drop off donations at the CRIC. Items left outside our building are not only ruined by the elements, but they are a safety and security risk to our office. Please help us by setting up an appointment for donations.
